Life By Art is a Division of Teens Beyond Boundaries

OBJECTIVE

Its objective is to help improve the lives of disenfranchised children around the
World.

■

Fact: Due to poverty, disease, war, natural and man-made
disasters there are millions of innocent children
suffering on every continent, including the U.S.

■

Fact: Many of these children suffer Trauma. According
to Medical Experts this damage is far worse and
longer lasting than physical injuries.

■

Fact: Children who are victims of disasters are displaying
abnormal behavior.

■

Fact: According to UN Relief Workers they find newly
orphaned children hiding because they are afraid of being
abducted, and sold into slavery.

■

Fact: Some children have lost both parents. They are so traumatized
that they have not shed a tear.

In most situations as the interest, attention and media coverage diminishes, most of
the World walks away leaving behind the real long-term damage.

The task of rebuilding the lives, and repairing the damage to the heart and spirit of
the children and their families require a long-term commitment.

These children are the parents, doctors, lawyers, teachers and leaders of the future,
They must be healed.

The Life By Art Division of Teens Beyond Boundaries shall provide a sustained
Long term effort to rehabilitate and improve the lives of these children.

OUR STRATEGY

Every situation is different and requires a cohesive strategy.

The Leadership Teens from that Region, Country or Continent will work with
the support of the Leadership Teens Worldwide to come up with a strategy that
will work for that particular situation.

The Teens Leaders will work closely within each Community with their
government and non-government leaders, parents, teachers and healthcare
professionals.

To help heal the Emotional Trauma, Teens Beyond Boundaries will use
“Art Therapy”. Art used as therapy provides a child with a language that
the child understands and is able to use. Colors, shapes and textures
can speak volumes to a trained Pediatric Trauma Art Therapist when a child
is unable to utter a single word.

Teens Beyond Boundaries is developing a strategic alliance with Medical
Universities & Colleges in the U.S., Europe and Asia to develop a Team
of Pediatric Trauma Specialists to help us in our efforts.

 

PROGRAMS IN DEVELOPMENT

1.

In the United States - Homeless children.

2.

In Africa - Children sold as slaves at the age of 4 and 5.

3.

In Central Asia - Artificial limbs for child amputees suffering from devastating
earthquakes.

4.

In South America – The children of the Rain Forests.

5.

Central Europe - The war orphans of Bosnia.

6.

Middle East - The suffering children of war & political strife.

Our Programs will be a testament to the resiliency of children!

As our Network of Leadership Teens expands globally we will be in a better position
to be of more help to other suffering children around the world.
